By now you probably have this image in your head of something better that life can offer, but the risk of trying it is holding you back. So you keep on keeping on with complaining, blaming and making excuses.

The circumstances you are complaining about are situations you can change – but you choose not to. WHY?

  • Accept that you are making the choice to:
    • Stay where you are
    • Take responsibility for your choices
    • Stop complaining
  • ***OR***
    • Take the risk of creating your life exactly how you want to see it

Risk takes courage to:

  • Make requests
  • Take action
  • Ask for help
  • Be proactive

The world does not owe you a damn thing, if you want something you are going to go and make it happen! We cannot all be Paris Hilton’s with the world handed to us on a silver platter.

Two Types of People:

  • Create the events in your life
  • Allow life to happen to you

REMEMBER: There is no such thing as a victim. So called “Victims”:

  • Stood by and allowed it to happen
  • Did not say anything to stop it
  • Did not make any demands
  • Did not make any prior requests
  • Did not SAY NO
  • Did not try something new
  • Leave
    • You will always receive advanced warnings to prevent the unwanted outcome

Successful People:

  • Face the facts
  • Take steps to create the outcomes they want
  • Do not wait for the shit to hit the fan
  • Do not blame, complain or make excuses for their problems

All you need to do is act the way you want to act to produce your desired results.  This involves thinking!

  • Concentrated awareness
  • Dedicated discipline
  • Willingness to experiment and take risks
  • Pay attention to the results you are getting
  • Ask everyone you know for feedback
    • “Is what I am doing working?”
    • “How could I do it better?”
    • “What else can I do to improve?”
    • “What should I stop doing?”
    • “How am I limiting myself?”

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO ASK!! People love to help, it is in our nature!

REMEMBER:

  • Do more of what works
  • Do less of what does not work
  • Try new behaviors
  • Look at the results you are getting
    • calibrate your thoughts and actions accordingly

The Results You Produce Will Never Lie:

Pay attention to your:

  • Thoughts
  • Actions
  • How those two brought about your results

The only way to change your results is to change your behavior!
