Yesterday morning I published an article on LinkedIn entitled, Making Health and Wellness a Way of Life in the Workplace if you’d like to learn more on this topic.

According to the World Health Organization, “The workplace directly influences the physical, mental, economic and social well-being of workers and in turn the health of their families, communities and society.”

Health and Wellness in the workplace is beneficial because of these five reasons and more:

  1. Less sick leave
  2. Improved productivity and efficiency
  3. Higher morale due to less stress
  4. High sense of self-worth and company perception
  5. Happier co-workers and clients
