Principle 1: Take 100% Responsibility For Your Life

Principle 1: Take 100% Responsibility For Your Life

You must take personal responsibility. You cannot change the circumstances, the seasons, or the wind, but you can change yourself.”  – Jim Rohn

The only person that is responsible for the life that you are currently living is yourself.  When you have a problem in life, it is your fault – no one else’s.

You can be the Milena Gavrin of the world and blame everything and everyone but you need to realize that the real problem lies within you!

The Success Principles states clearly, “If you want to be successful, you have to take 100% responsibility for everything that you experience in life.”

You are only responsible for:

  • Your Achievements
  • Your Failures
  • Results You Produce
  • Quality of Your Relationships
  • Your Health & Physical Fitness
  • Income & Debts
  • Your Thoughts
  • Feeling
  • EVERYTHING

You need to give up:

  • Excuses
  • Complaining
  • Blaming

You, and you alone, produced all of your:

  • Results
    • Failures
    • Successes
    • Circumstances
    • Situations
    • Whole Life

Until this very moment in life, you must acknowledge that you are the one who created everything in your life.  No one or event is to blame.

99% of all failures come from people who have a habit of making excuses.” – George Washington Carver

E+R=O (Events + Response = Outcome)

This simple life formula gives you two options:

The above is what most of us do and never know it…until now!

When something is not the way you want it, you place the blame on outside events and circumstances.  You have an excuse for everything!

  • Control your response (R) to events (E) until you get your desired outcome (O)
    • You Can Change:
      • Your Thinking
      • Communication
      • The Pictures You Hold In Your Head
      • Behavior
    • Regain Control of:
      • Your Thoughts
      • Images
        • Day Dreams
      • Behavior
    • Everything That You:
      • Think
      • Say
      • Do
        • Needs to be in alignment with:
          • Your Purpose
          • Your Values
          • Your Goals

If you don’t like your outcomes, change your responses.”  – The Success Principles
