Throughout my years of working, I have worked for great leaders and horrible leaders.  There is one huge difference in my personal opinion: respect.

With a Terrible Leader:

  • Followers (employees) talk bad about the leader
  • Followers complain about all the decisions
  • Followers have no respect for them because they are shown no respect

With a Great Leader:

  • They give respect and receive it
  • Easily approachable
  • It is rare that it is their way or the highway

What qualities do you see with the leaders in your life?

Are you happy with that?
